Farming and livestock in Eşme

Barley, wheat, chickpeas, maize and tobacco are Eşme's main crops; pickling cucumbers and peppers and orchard crops such as walnuts and almonds are also grown.

Livestock is the district's strength. The Eşme sheep, developed through on-farm breeding, is a registered breed, and the district ranks first in Uşak for the number and capacity of milk cooling tanks.
