Facility Machinery Guide: Legumes, Compost and Livestock
A reference for investors planning one of these facilities: equipment types and selection criteria for legume cleaning and packing, compost and livestock facilities. The machinery list is finalised through capacity feasibility and the current grant guide.

Option 1: Legume Processing and Packaging Facility
- Intake and pre-cleaning: Intake screening, aspirator (dust and chaff removal), destoner to remove stones and soil particles.
- Grading, sorting and quality control: Screen grading by grain size, metal detector, basic testing and retained sample set (with optional optical color sorter unit in later stages).
- Packaging and labelling: Semi-automatic weigh-filling machine, bag heat-sealer / stitching unit, date and batch coder, compliant retail labelling.
- Storage and internal logistics: Pallet racks, battery pallet truck, moisture- and pest-protected enclosed warehouse space.

Option 2: Open-Platform Compost Facility (Organic Manure HOG-A)
- Raw material intake and mixing: Mixer / bucket loader to homogenise farmyard manure, straw and agricultural residues.
- Compost windrow turner: Tractor PTO-driven windrow turner with aerating drum to aerate the piles and accelerate aerobic fermentation.
- Windrow temperature and moisture tracking: Wireless IoT probes monitoring the 55–65 °C pasteurisation threshold and pile moisture remotely.
- Screening and classification (Trommel): Rotary drum screen separating mature fine compost from oversized residues, foreign matter and coarse fiber.
- Bagging and weighing: Semi-automatic bag filler, bag stitching machine (for 25–50 kg bags) and 1–3 ton platform scale.
- Leachate drainage: Concrete platform slope, leachate collection channel and submersible effluent pump.

Option 3: Livestock Facility (Cattle / Small Ruminants)
- Feed preparation and distribution: Vertical/horizontal auger feed mixer-wagon (TMR ration mixer), tractor-towed feed distributor, bale processor.
- Manure management and separator: In-barn automatic hydraulic or chain alley scrapers, manure mixer, effluent pump and solid-liquid manure separator.
- Watering and drinkers: Frost-free thermal drinkers, float-controlled stainless steel water bowls, booster pump and filtration unit.
- Barn climate and animal welfare: High-volume ventilation fans, misting cooling systems, automatic windbreak curtains, cow massage brushes and rubber bedding mats.
- Milking and cooling (in dairy scenario): Herringbone milking parlour, vacuum pump, automated CIP wash unit and stainless bulk milk cooling tank.
- Weighing and herd management: Digital animal weigh scale, electronic RFID ear-tag readers and herd management software terminal.

General Quoting, Procurement and Eligibility Rules
- New and unused requirement: All machinery procured under the grant must be brand-new; second-hand equipment is strictly disqualified.
- Documentation package: CE certificate, manufacturer warranty certificate, Turkish maintenance manual, test report / credit conformity and product catalogue.
- Weights and measures certification: Trade scales and weighing platforms must have official metrology stamps.
- Products not processed in the facility (e.g. tarhana, pekmez) are sourced ready-made and labelled from producers; no production equipment for a different product group is added to the same project.
