About the idea
Concept: three or four cabins (e.g. the ridge-skylit A-Frame 24 and the landscape-reflecting Mirror Cabin 10), a shared viewing deck, telescopes and a guided night programme; outdoor lighting is downward-facing and warm. Revenue: overnight stays, night-programme tickets, packages around meteor showers and eclipses, and school or astronomy club groups. Why here: plateaus far from Denizli and Uşak city centres are good candidates for dark skies and add a night experience to the Pamukkale route. Sites should be chosen by measurement. First step: measure sky brightness (SQM) at three candidate sites and meet local astronomy clubs.
Risks and mitigation
Weather-dependent satisfaction, niche demand and access. Mitigation: an indoor programme for cloudy nights, daytime hikes and local produce packages.
