About the idea
Concept: two or three cabins (e.g. the Round House 27 and the Pine Chalet 30) are added to an existing farm; guests join the grape, olive or fig harvest and the making of molasses and olive oil. Breakfast uses produce from the farm and neighbouring growers. Revenue: stays, experience packages (harvest day, cooking workshop) and a produce-box subscription sold online after the visit; a second income on top of the farm's main business. Why here: Hierapolis Halikarnas' grower network in Güney, Buldan and Eşme is already in place; the guest experience turns directly into produce sales. First step: find three farms in the network willing to host guests and open a trial package for one harvest season.
Risks and mitigation
The farmer's hosting capacity, food safety and insurance, seasonal demand. Mitigation: cap guests at two per cabin, a hygiene and safety checklist and central booking.
