A 453 Billion Lira Investment Target Announced: Four Areas Stand Out in Uşak

1,156 pre-applications were received across Turkey in the 2026 round of the Local Development Drive Programme run by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. According to an Anadolu Agency report based on the Development Agencies Sustainability Report, the applications carry an investment potential of around 453 billion lira and more than 66,000 jobs.

According to the Ministry's written reply to the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the investment topics that stand out in Uşak include technical and industrial felt production, textile chemicals, textile machinery and parts, and value-added products from textile and leather waste.

In the programme's previous round in Uşak, three projects qualified for support; a total investment of 256.1 million lira and additional employment for 132 people were projected for these projects. The city's share in the 2026 round will become clear with province-level evaluation results.
