Rural Development and KKYP Grants: How to Get Started
What to prepare before applying to the Rural Development Investment Support Programme for an agricultural investment.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's Rural Development Investment Support Programme (KKYP) provides non-repayable support for agricultural investments. Support rates, eligible investment topics and scoring are set by the communiqué and implementation guide published each year; always read the current texts before applying.
Three things should be settled before applying. First, land and ownership: the parcel's title and use status, consent from co-owners if the title is shared, and a water use permit where required. Second, the project: the technical design, cost tables and required permits are prepared by licensed engineers. Third, scoring: the project's strengths and weaknesses against the guide's evaluation criteria should be clear before submission.
At Hierapolis Halikarnas we advise on pre-application preparation, the business plan and the application file. On projects where we provide consultancy we do not quote equipment; purchases are made from independent suppliers. The grant decision belongs to the Ministry; approval cannot be guaranteed.
