Why We Are Planning Farm Automation in Eziler

Eziler is our family's village in the Güney district of Denizli. We are preparing a rural development investment on our family land there, targeting the grant application in April 2027.

There is a problem we see often in the villages: driving to the field to switch the pump on and off, turning valves by hand, and irrigating without knowing whether the soil actually needs water. That costs both time and water.

The infrastructure we are planning for Eziler has three parts: a solar-powered pump, sensors that measure soil moisture and tank level, and a Raspberry Pi based controller that runs irrigation from those readings. The grower will be able to see the pump, tank and valves on their phone.

This is still a plan; installation will follow project approval. We will only share water or yield figures once the system is running and has measured them.
